Who will?

Who’s gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

Who’s gonna rock you when the sun won’t let you sleep?
Who’s waking up to drive you home when you’re drunk and all alone?
Who’s gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?
It ain’t me.”

You get to walk through haunted corners all alone.  Try to walk through the darkness with someone worse than me. Your star signs will never be home.

You’re afraid of the world outside of your crib. Cry and whine, beg and fib.

I won’t hold your hand anymore. I don’t care that you’re afraid. She knows you’re a liar, too. She just doesn’t want to let go of mistakes she’s made.

I won’t be there when the bottom falls into the sea.  Two chances was too many it seems.

When you cry out in your sleep,  know you’re alone.  Know that I won’t coo you back to sleep. Know that no matter who is next to you,  you’re alone.  A solitude you’ve always known.

You burned down your home.
